Find UK Whisky Clubs Near me

Whisky Clubs UK: We think your local whisky club is a great place to learn about and enjoy whisky in a safe place, as well as make great friends. They’ve been an important part of the whisky journey for all three of the Summerton team, therefore to help you find your nearest UK whisky club, we’re trying to build up a complete list of all the whisky clubs that are running in the UK. While this list isn’t extensive yet, we’re building a regularly updated and dependable list of active whiskey clubs in the UK – just like our rather awesome list of all the UK Whisky Festivals!

If you know of any more we should add, or if you’re looking to start one yourself, please let us know via hello@summertonclub.com and we’ll add the info to the page.

(Obviously Summerton Whisky Club is a great option for all who want to join a whisky community, we have active Member chatrooms on Discord and Facebook, as well as our annual whisky festival, which is a great chance for us all to meet in person and enjoy great whisky. If you want to learn more, head to our homepage.)

We were part of the York Food and Drink Festival, with paired tastings involving cheese and chocolate, and finished the year with a Christmas Micro-Festival bringing the experience of a larger festival to our growing York Whisky Community. Now entering our 3rd year (2024), we’ve got our largest lineup yet with plans for an expanded Summer Festival and a repeat of our 2023 Dream Drams tasting that blew away all attendees. SE23 Whisky Club London

SE23 Whisky Club

The SE23 Whisky club has been going for over nine years. We meet every two weeks on Tuesdays at 8pm in a pub in Forest Hill. Between 10 and 15 people usually attend each meeting to learn about whisky, understand more about how it is made, and which flavours we most enjoy.
At most meetings we sample six small whiskies with a particular theme, and in doing so we learn more about the process of making whisky – including the water, the barrels and the shape of the stills.
Many of the meetings are hosted by brand ambassadors, and we have had visits from ambassadors from Macallan, Suntory, Benriach/Glendronach, Chivas/Glenlivet, Whisky Exchange, Maverick Drinks, Paul John and Port Askaig.
Within the club are a few very knowledgeable individuals (with rather impressive personal whisky collections), but most are novices who just want to know more about whisky and explore the vast range of whiskies available.
The club is open to anybody. Our events have a small charge to cover the cost of the whisky for the evening, usually around £20.
